Reasons for Team Conflicts
Working on a team can be uncomfortable for many of us. Being a member of a team that is responsible for creating and implementing change in an organization can be particularly stressful. No matter how focused we may be on the team’s ultimate goal, individual team members bring a variety of experiences, skills, attitudes, work styles, and personalities that can distract us from that goal.

“I don’t understand why you keep changing it,” grumbled Latoyia. “We just changed it last month.”
“Because the market is changing, and we have to modify it to meet the needs of the market,” replied Mario. “If we don’t improve it, we won’t have a product that will sell. We need to continually make improvements and enhancements and develop new marketing strategies to keep our position in the marketplace.”
“But all these changes are hurting the organization, and I don’t think our people will put up with them anymore,” said Latoyia.
